Yom Iyyun for NYC Rabbis and Cantors
March 14 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
This year we focus on the intersections between discriminatory policing and sanctuary and will be focused on meeting with our partners based in Queens. Morning text study will be at the Reform Temple of Forest Hills, lead by Rabbi Barat Ellman. Afternoon session location TBA and will feature a panel on connections between discriminatory policing, immigration, and sanctuary.
Text study will begin at 10:30, vegetarian lunch will be provided at noon, and we’ll meet at our partner location for the afternoon session at 1.
This year we are asking for donations from $18-180 to help defray costs for lunch and honoraria for our panelists.
