The Director of Communications will develop, oversee, and implement a multi-tiered strategic communications plan to ensure effective communications is integrated into every aspect of JFREJ’s organizing, cultural, and community work, and expands our reach and profile as a leading voice in both the Jewish community and movements for social justice. The Jews of Color & Racial Justice Organizer will be responsible for supporting the Jews of Color Caucus. The organizer will also have a significant role supporting JFREJ’s ongoing campaigns for racial & economic justice in New York City, working with members, our partner organizations and coalitions, and other stakeholders. In addition, the organizer will also work to strengthen the overall JFREJ membership base and support our leadership development, political education, and cultural organizing. Applications are due on May 13th, 2019 at 5pm.
The Finance & Operations Manager manages our financial, administrative, human resource, database, and IT systems. This role is critical in supporting our organizational culture of teamwork and continuous learning. This role supports staff to collaborate to accomplish organizational goals and provides staff with the tools required to manage their own administrative tasks. The deadline to apply is May 26th.
