RSVP to rachel@jfrej.org if you haven't already! Bring a kosher snack to share. JFREJ is preparing to transition our Shalom Bayit: Justice for Domestic Workers Campaign into a new organizing program. So many of us took part in the powerful campaign for the Domestic Workers Bill of Rights in New York State. Many more have participated since 2010 in our innovative experiments around implementation and eldercare. In tandem with JFREJ’s 25th Anniversary, we invite you to join us in a participatory celebration of our Shalom Bayit program. Let’s bring to bear the most powerful and inspiring lessons from the last 25 years as we enter the next phase of our work.
We want to hear your thoughts and reflections! What has Shalom Bayit meant to you? How were you transformed through this powerful partnership with the domestic worker movement? What questions do you have about this transition and what it means for JFREJ and our partners?
