Register today for a three part series to build a shared framework on what it means to be Jews working for racial and economic justice.
PLEASE NOTE: This three part series builds on each other. If you are only able to register for 1 or 2 sessions we will add you to a wait list and let you know if there will be space. If you are able to attend all three sessions, please register separately for each.
In the first session we will break down JFREJ’s analysis of how “Power, Oppression and Privilege” play out in our society, with a focus on racial and economic injustice and anti-Jewish oppression.
“What is Organizing” will introduce key community organizing skills, engage you in JFREJ’s theory of change, and empower you to be a change agent.
“Who is the Jewish Community” will counter racism and Ashkenazi centrism within our own Jewish communities and explore our role as Jews in the work as a multi-racial, multi-generational, multi-ethnic, multi-class community.
