​Join Congregation Tehillah, the Riverdale-Yonkers Society for Ethical Culture, and Jews for Racial and Economic Justice (JFREJ) for a Community Teach-In about the Right to Know Act, a legislative package currently being considered by the New York City Council. The Right to Know Act aims to increase police accountability, respect and transparency and protect the rights of all New Yorkers. Come together with community members to ​engage in a discussion about what true safety for all New Yorkers could look like. Learn about the Right to Know Act as one powerful tool to work toward ending discriminatory and abusive policing. Finally, take action to help pass it into New York City law.
