We are building a movement for a more caring economy in New York City and New York State. In order to get there, it's time to address New York State's care workforce shortage. Join the NY Caring Majority Campaign at a hearing that will focus on obstacles to recruiting, employing, and retaining our home care workforce. Additionally, this hearing will address the payment rates from Medicaid managed care, funding for Expanded In-Home Services for the Elderly, the role of managed care organizations in directing the resources toward patient-centered care, and the increasing demand for home care services.
