Join the New York Caring Majority for our Hudson Valley Care Congress, where we’ll meet as seniors, people with disabilities, family caregivers, domestic workers, and home care workers, to discuss our shared vision to make care and care work valued and visible. We’ll build community and take action together in the fight for universal long-term care and quality care jobs.
The New York Caring Majority is a movement of seniors, people with disabilities, family caregivers, domestic workers, and home care workers from all across the state. We want to make home care affordable and available to all who need it, to create the quality long-term care jobs we need to meet our growing demand, and to defend basic and essential programs such as Medicaid, the Older Americans Act, and the Affordable Care Act.
All New Yorkers deserve the care we need to live full and healthy lives. Now is the time to change the way we care.
The Hudson Valley Care Congress will take place Monday, October 30th 1-4 PM at The Henry A. Wallace Visitor and Educational Center, 4079 Albany Post Road, Hyde Park. RSVP to ilana@domesticemployers.org if you can join us.
