The sharp increase in anti-Asian violence over the past year has made the urgency of fighting against hate and for the safety and dignity of our friends, family, and neighbors painfully clear.

JFREJ and the Center for Anti-Violence Education — partners in the NYC Against Hate coalition are offering an upstander training for all JFREJ members on Monday, March 29th from 5:30–7:30PM. Show up for our Asian friends, family and neighbors and learn how to interrupt incidents of hate violence and keep yourself and others safe.

Due to the urgency of the situation, we wanted to get a training on the calendar as soon as possible — please join us if your observance practices allow. We will also schedule another training after Passover.
