Award Ceremony for Caregivers

On International Women's Day we are honoring the unrecognized labor of home care workers and family caregivers, the vast majority of whom are women. We will honor their work and call for Fair Pay for Home Care in this year’s budget. At this press event, legislators and individuals on the frontlines of the home care crisis will honor a home care worker or family caregiver in their life. Speakers will call for Fair Pay for Home Care’s inclusion in the budget as an essential way to recognize and invest in the caregiving work women do for little to no compensation.
