Join JFREJ, the Caring Majority coalition, and Senate Health Chair Gustavo Rivera for the official public launch of our campaign to end the failed experiment of Managed Long Term Care in Medicaid home care delivery.
Our legislation will stop New York State from giving billions to private insurance companies meant to provide home care for older and disabled New Yorkers seeking to live independently in their communities, and return home care management to the State. The bill will generate approximately $2.5 billion in savings annually, which could be used to improve service quality by funding higher wages for home care workers during the growing worker shortage.
We will hear stories from the frontlines of the home care crisis and will be joined by NYC Comptroller Brad Lander, the state legislators sponsoring this budget priority in the State Legislature and more. Please join us for this can't-miss event!
