If the people can't go to the library on a Sunday, the library must go to the people - we're staging a read-in on the steps of the Central Branch of the BPL to show how much New Yorkers need Sunday library service. This will be a kid-friendly event, with art and singing and story time! We will have a team doing some street canvassing during and after, to talk to neighbors about why the libraries are closed (hint: austerity budget!) and how we can get them open (hint: passing a People's budget!)
Accessibility: outdoors on the steps of the library. There is a ramp!
