Jeremy Siegman (he/him) is an active JFREJ and TJV member, a grant writer at Make the Road New York, and an academic with a background in anthropology and political science. He previously did his doctoral research about Palestinian service work in Israeli settlements, and the fraught politics of Israeli-Palestinian market encounters, which was published in the Journal of Palestine Studies, Palestine Square, and PoLAR: Political and Legal Anthropology Review. He has taught at University of Chicago, Harvard, and CCNY, on themes including neoliberalism, settler colonialism, militarization, social theory, and the Middle East. He has also done political education and organizing on Israel/Palestine with a number of other progressive organizations.
