As tens of millions of baby boomers hit their senior years, the U.S. is now faced with a very real shortage of care-givers. On this episode of City Works, host Laura Flanders examines this growing health crisis with Ai-jen Poo, founder of the National Domestic Workers Alliance and J. Philip Thompson, former NYC Deputy Mayor, in an online public forum recently held by CUNY SLU. And joining Laura after the forum is Maggie Ornstein, Professor of Public Health and an expert on family care-giving and long-term care.
