Join the Egalitarian Sephardi Mizrahi Community of New York for Egalitarian Sephardi High Holidays, delivered in Maghrebi and Yerushalmi nusahim, led by Laura Elkeslassy and friends. All are welcome!
What & When:
Thursday, Sept 7: Sephardi Selichot. Doors open: 7:30pm. Start time: 8:00pm.
Sunday, Sept 10: Sephardi Mizrahi Rosh Hashanah Seder for All. On Zoom: 1:00pm ET.
Friday, Sept. 15: Rosh Hashanah Arvit. Doors open: 6:00pm. Start time: 6:45pm.
Sunday, Sept. 24: Yom Kippur Kol Nidrei. Doors open: 6:00pm. Start time: 6:30pm.
Monday, Sept. 25: Yom Kippur Neila. Doors Open: 5:30pm. Start time: 5:45pm.

All services will take place at the Social Hall of Congregation Beth Elohim, 274 Garfield Place, Brooklyn, NY 11215.
Please note that tickets are being offered on a sliding scale, with a suggested cost of $36 per service. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. If you are able, please consider buying a ticket for $72 per service in order to sponsor another community member. We will also be offering 2 virtual workshops to prepare for High Holidays: on Monday, September 11 at 8pm ET, for Maghrebi Music for Rosh Hashana with Laura Elkeslassy, and on Tuesday, September 19 at 8pm ET, for Maghrebi Music for Yom Kippur with Laura Elkeslassy. COVID Safety:
Masks are required for participants, but service leaders will not be wearing masks. Please take a covid test in the 24 hours before the service. Since rapid tests are not always accurate, try to take a PCR test if you are able. If you feel sick, please keep the community safe by staying home.
