Where:

Please note that Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur are at two different locations this year!

Selichot and Rosh Hashana will take place at Union Temple, 17 Eastern Parkway Brooklyn, NY.

Yom Kippur services will take place at Urbane Arts Club at 1016 Beverley Rd Brooklyn, NY.

The ticket price that serves best to sustain this community is $54 per service. We will never turn anyone away for lack of funds, so please pay what you can, even if that is $0. We deeply appreciate all contributions that allow us to continue offering these services.

Please note you must get tickets for each service individually!

Accessibility:

Union Temple: The space is fully accessible. There is a lift and elevator to access the bathrooms.

Urbane: While the main ballroom of Urbane Arts Space is accessible via a ramp, the bathroom is not. The bathroom is up a flight of stairs and unfortunately, there is no ramp to access it.

Volunteer:

If you would like to volunteer to help out with any of our services, please fill out this form.

Workshops:

True to the Sephardi tradition, our services are meant to be as participatory as possible. In order to familiarize yourself with and practice the melodies we will be using, we welcome you to check out Laura's nusach workshops with Let My People Sing. (These are not official kehilla workshops but will be very helpful in preparing for the services!)

COVID Safety:

Masks are required for participants, but service leaders will not be wearing masks. Please take a covid test in the 24 hours before the service. Since rapid tests are not always accurate, try to take a PCR test if you are able. If you feel sick, please keep the community safe by staying home.

These offerings are supported by IfNotNow, JFREJ’s Mizrahi & Sephardi Caucus, and Jewish Voice for Peace’s BIJOCSM Network.
