Position Description

The JFREJ Digital & Communications Intern role is a temporary remote position from April through December 2025. The position is 18 hours a week. Exact timeline/hours are flexible, and we can work around school schedules if applicable. The Digital & Comms Intern will work on a variety of projects including updating the JFREJ website, co-managing social media accounts for JFREJ along with a group of members, digital storytelling about JFREJ and our work, graphic design, support with press outreach, and more. We are looking for someone who: (1) is excited about our vision and building JFREJ, (2) is interested in a future working in social media and communications/messaging, and (3) can easily attend rallies, marches, and actions on-site in NYC.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity and ease with Facebook, Twitter/Bluesky, Instagram, TikTok
  • Creative and detail-oriented
  • Strong writer
  • Fast learner
  • Excited to learn about website development, graphic design, and press outreach
  • Interested in a future working in communications & social media 


As this is an internship, we are not requiring prior digital or professional social media experience to apply.
